WOW!!! I didn't realize I hadn't done a post in 2013 yet...GEEZ!!
Times flying, but we're all having fun.
Alex continues to GROW...he's 30 lbs now (maybe even more, we'll see at the dr. next week),
LEARN...he knows 1/2 of the alphabet, he says the numbers 2, 5, 8, 9, 10 (kinda random) and plenty other words, and shows more of his PERSONALITY everyday. Just ask some of the VA family what happens when you say his favorite word...talk about cutting his eye at you and then busting out laughing. It's too funny!
Baseball season starts this weekend and I just finished a big admissions event, so we're all just rolling right along.
Here are a couple of the latest (not necessarily the greatest) pics.
After I finished working out in the gym, I come home to Alex who says "up" (as in pick me up). "No brother, mommy can't pick you up". So I sat down in the floor with him. He sees my apple and just had to dive in.
We went to VA to see family, but thankfully stopped by the outlets. After Alex calmly got put in the stroller, we come to this dinosaur and Aunt Tasha says "Alex you wanna ride the dinosaur". I had to remind Tasha of what we had been through earlier with him and the stroller. She laughed, but then I said to myself, "You're only a true kid once". Clearly it was worth it! When he sees this picture in my phone now he says "ROARRR". I don't know if that's what he's saying here or not.
Alex and Nana
Yesterday I was PATIENTLY WAITING for Alex to take a nap, because it was WAY PAST nap time! I was looking down at my book and turn my head to see this. We just stared at each other for about 5 seconds. Then I reached for my phone to capture this picture. When he realized I was taking a picture, he tries to say "Cheese". REALLY BOY, GET YOUR BUTT DOWN! That's what I wanted to say, but everyone tells me this is what boys do. Deep breathe! Ok I guess.
15 minutes later, he was knocked out!
I have a fun weekend planned in my head for Alex, so we'll be back soon.
