Little Swimmer

Alex is learning and improving. He completed all 3 levels of the Preschool Swim so now he's ready for real "Level 1". He does enjoy swimming and I have definitely seen improvement in his skill and confidence. He has so much confidence, he doesn't like to swim with his summer camp because they "help him". BOY BYE!! You're not that good.

Now I don't know what's up with the uploading video quality, but I'm gonna hope ya'll can see it. I've never had this problem before. Aww man, part of the fun of watching him is seeing his face, you can tell he's proud. These are videos from his last couple of lessons in Level 3. I thought I had a few from Level 1, but.....

Swimming on his back.

His instructor commented on how well he does that.
In the video, after a certain point you can see the instructor with both hands up showing that Alex basically showing that Alex was doing it on his own.

Throwing a pool toy, using the swim board (I don't know the real name) to swim out and then the instructor takes the board so they can go underwater to get the toy from the bottom.

I know this was final lesson day!

The instructor told Alex to stay under the water for 5 seconds, but you see Alex made it longer. I forgot to show him this video so he has no clue he stayed longer.

Up next for Alex is T-ball. 

He is signed up for a couple of sessions later this summer.

He's doing alright playing here with his dad during the 4th of July weekend.

I wasn't going to post anything about Alana, but these pictures stand out from the 4th of July weekend. As I'm usually clueless as to why our kids do some of the things they do...this one could go several ways.

She knows what "No street" means.
