As Good As It Gets

As we patiently wait, I've finally stopped working, stopped hanging things and almost anything else. Of course I can't keep but so still (yeah I'm walking about 2 miles a day), but chilling a little bit nevertheless. I promised final pics of K2's room so here they are. I am VERY SATISFIED with how it turned out. BIG SHOUT OUT again to Team Chizzie (Charlotte and Lizzie) for all the help and for not making me do too many things I thought I didn't want to do! I think K2 and guest now have one of the best rooms in the house! Time to step up the other people that live here. Discounts and DIY projects made this room fun!

The next thing that is "as good as it gets" are my friends! This is a special shout out to my homie Sontina! We have been here, there and yonder together. Even traveling to VA about 11 years ago to be there to support my cousin Rhonda thru her delivery. All we ended up doing was walking thru Kmart all night with no baby before we left, but hey...it's a memory. Now Rhonda just had another baby about a month ago and here are Sontina and I waiting on our girls. It's amazing how awesome God is to give me the opportunity (ESPECIALLY IN THIS LAST MONTH) to go thru pregnancy feelings with someone. I'm 2 weeks ahead of her (delivery), but every couple days we are texting something to each other about how we feel or what the dr. said. I already don't like to complain during pregnancy, but when I'm talking her it doesn't really feel like a complaint b/c she's probably feeling it too. Some common terms we are using now-a-days, "HEEAAAVVYYY" and "YYAAASSSSS". The other day she text me with something that sounded just like something I would have said...not her, but hey we are friends. Always down for a good laugh!

I can't leave out our 3rd road dawg...Evette! She had a baby girl several months ago. These girls are by far some of the best to travel with. From Las Vegas to NY (and even Miami but without Sontina) WE GO HARD!! Can't wait until 2050 comes around and we can make another trip ladies! Hahaha! Sike. I'm not waiting that long. Love kids. Love family, but I gotta make moves!
