Happy Summer! Happy 100 degree days (our AZ people are use to that)! Have a popsicle. A water balloon fight. Ice cream sundae. Pool party. Go shopping in the air condition! Anything to cool you down and make you smile!
Thanks for coming to see what we're up to. Most of the time it's just about family, fun and watching these kids get bigger...like why can I already see Alana's top 2 teeth coming in. I do this not just to share and keep you up-to-date, but so that I can remember what was going on in our lives.
Our photographer was the same one who took Alana's 4 month old pictures (see February post). She's really great and when I sent her an email to thank her for being flexible during our shoot (3 year old and 8 month old) and to not worry if she didn't get a shot with everyone looking at the same time, she immediately calmed me down by sending me some awesome shots. We'll miss her at 12 months as she's prego. I was trying to capture her at 4 months, 8 months and 12 months. So while capturing her growth at 8 months, we decided to make it a family photo shoot.
Then we had a non-professional downtown photo shoot. The book on how to use our camera is being ordered, but no one said you had to read it before you played around. So Charles and I did just that.

I am glad you are blogging so I can remember! Loving my grand babies in these photographs! You and Charles look good too! Alana looks like her dad and grandmother! Yeah - someone finally looks like me.
